The NDI DPP Readiness Score is built from pre-audit assessment data collected across 47 manufacturers in the HCMC-Binh Duong-Dong Nai cluster during 2025–2026. It is the only publicly available Vietnam-calibrated DPP readiness benchmark for the furniture sector.

The 40% weight assigned to Supply Chain Transparency reflects field reality, not regulatory text. 90% of Vietnamese furniture manufacturers who begin a DPP compliance program start from zero supply chain documentation at Tier 2 and Tier 3. Building this documentation requires suppliers to change their own data practices, which takes 6–18 months regardless of budget. It is the longest lead-time item in the program. Starting it first — or not starting it first — determines whether the program finishes before or after enforcement.
